◆When did you start drawing?
Long time ago, but in kindergarten and stuff like that it was just because I didn't really have much else to do. I've been practicing serious drawing since I got a tablet, which was about 3 years ago.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right.

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Female, it's easy to make them look feminine - but then when I draw too many girls, the boys turn out feminine. So recently I've been drawing only males.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short hair - long is kind of hard for me to make it look natural.

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Left! I swear I can't draw people facing the right side for my life.

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front view, definitely. I still can't make my side views look decent.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Dynamic poses, feet, hands, upper body anatomy, many still life objects.

◆What do you like to draw?
People, expressions... anything that's quick, cause I lose my motivation easily.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I think both. I'm more of a digital though, but recently I've been drawing a lot of traditional stuff. It's definitely easier for me to sketch on paper with a pencil, but then again in a digital programme you can zoom it out and see if it looks alright. I also prefer coloring in digital.

◆Where do you start drawing from?
Head.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
My poses are always the same.

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Try adding colors into shadows that aren't really seen there - in the end, it makes it look more natural.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Very, very long. I'm a slow worker, unless I'm under pressure - normally sketching, lineart and coloring takes me 4-5 hours for a simple picture, for more complicated, much longer. One picture I remember doing for AGES; I actually lost count after the 40 hour.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
It depends - if I get an idea from the music, then I play it on repeat. If not, then anything really.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
I don't force myself to come up with ideas - if it hits me, I draw it.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Well, as I said, I prefer digital so tablet I guess? But in traditional I also like markers and acrylics.

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Red and blue I think, but my works differ a lot from each other, both in terms of colour, technique, tools, style and mood. I suppose I like to try different things, but I also try seeking something "my own".

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Realistic and semi-realistic, although manga can be enjoyable too, when done well.

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
Well, I hope that whatever I do will have something to do with drawing, but I'm hoping to become a graphic designer. Silly dreams but I hope I can do it. So I tend to stretch to the side of digital.
